The Mercy House is a missional community situated on the west side of Anderson. Our goal is reconciliation, both to each other and to God, and we invite everyone to join with us as we follow Jesus on this journey.

Announcements

  • Friday, May 16th the well-known christian band, Tenth Avenue North will host a concert here at our very own venue. The concert will begin @ 8pm, $5. Their record label has already set up an advertising plan for local media in Indianapolis, but the Concert Ministry also realizes this amazing opportunity to bring youth within East Central Indiana together for an amazing worship experience. If you have worked with youth groups in our city or surrounding cities, we are asking if you could provide contact information to youth pastors to spread information about this event. Please send information to Michelle McEver at concerts@TheMercyHouse.com
  • Our sister church plant in Hunnington, IN is called Springwater. They’ve recently opened a thrift store in their basement. People caught wind of it through the local media and the response has been crazy the last couple weeks. SO THEY NEED MORE CLOTHES! With many people going home for the summer, spring cleaning, etc…. perhaps you can compile some things you would be willing to donate. Please place donations in bags in TMH gym.
  • Our summer internship begins May 21st, so look forward to meeting our summer Interns. We are excited about this stellar line up!! We are excited to invite this group into the growing synergy of our community and leadership. Many of them will be transitioning into the building, various projects and ministries throughout the summer, so watch for their presence and more updates throughout the summer.
  • Within this open church model, we will sit in a circle with no defined leaders, and there will be time for everyone to share. This is a symbol of being open to be led by the Spirit during this time. Each person is welcome to come as an observer, however, is invited to be active and participate. You may share what Christ is teaching you and speaking to you. You may bring your journal to read an entry, a passage, or devotional, or quote, or song, or article, or picture, or art. Join us in the Kid’s Ministry Room, Sunday morning's at 9 a.m.
  • The Weekly Blurb is meant to be a helpful communication device between ministries, leaders, staff and community. If you need to submit announcements or have questions about an event, you can e-mail info@themercyhouse.com. Those e-mails are sent directly to the Information & Volunteer Coordinator, Mischon Kareken and if applicable to this communication tool can be submitted to the weekly newsletter
