Our “Anderson Guide for Living” is almost ready for the website! If you own a business, offer a skilled trade or have an artist’s website (Etsy, portfolio, etc.), we’d like to list your contact info in the guide. To be included, send your website or e-mail and a basic description of your business to Carl at needs@themercyhouse.com. Our desire is to connect those in our community with trades to others who could use those services.

In preparation for S.T.A.R.’s Bingo Night fundraiser, we will be hosting a cleaning day after church on Sunday August 29. A free lunch will be provided. We hope to spruce up the floors in the entry way, hallway and gym. Basic cleaning is needed in the kitchen and our extensive cleaning will focus on the bathrooms. On Sunday, September 5 at 7pm, we will host a Bingo Night fundraiser event for the S.T.A.R. program, with delicious concessions available for purchase. We are already getting some great donations from local businesses for prizes! Adults can purchase a packet of games for $10; kids can play along with a $2 bingo packet just for them.
